Mounting position: horizontal with tailstockClamping system SG
The clamping mandrel is designed for turning the outer contour of the workpiece.
Functional description:
Clamping is initiated via a drawbar on the machine side and is transmitted to the clamping bushes (system SG) via a clamping bolt. Two clamping bushes are installed one behind the other so that the entire length of the workpiece can be clamped. An intermediate bushing is located on top. The bushing is axially limited and only transmits the radial force to the workpiece. An easily removable plastic ring is provided as a protective cover on the tailstock.
Advantages:
- Protection against chips thanks to covers on both sides- uniform distribution of the clamping force over the entire clamping length- Clamping of different workpieces with different inside diameters via exchangeable intermediate sleeves
