Mounting position: vertically uprightClamping system SM
The clamping chuck is designed for a drilling and milling operation of the workpiece.
Functional description:
The pre-centring of the workpiece is done via the internal tension of the diaphragm (system SM). The diaphragm cenres the workpiece by means of hydraulic pressure on an integrated piston. The three clamping segments of the diaphragm are pushed against the workpiece and clamp it on the outer diameter. In addition, the workpiece is hydraulically clamped flat via a lateral block cylinder with lever arm. It moves downwards and presses a clamping plate towards the front surface of the workpiece. The release of the face clamping and the centring are carried out simultaneously by hydraulic pressure.
Advantages:
- Resistant to soiling thanks to diaphragm design- Clamping jaws with quick change system- The end stop is equipped with air system control- Excellent holding force of the clamping device thanks to the additional face clamping with a lateral lever arm
