Mounting position: vertically suspendedClamping system SG
The clamping chuck is designed for a turning and milling operation of the workpiece.
Functional description:
Clamping is initiated via a drawbar on the machine side and, after exceeding the idle stroke, is passed on to the clamping bush (system SG) via a connecting piece. This clamping bush is designed for two different clamping diameters by means of a stepped shoulder. The contact surface at the end stop varies depending on the workpiece. The clamping range is very narrow for both clamping diameters.
Advantages:
- optimum clamping despite very narrow clamping area- use for two different clamping diameters with only one clamping bush
