Clamping system SG

The clamping mandrel is designed for milling the external gearing of the workpiece.

Functional description:

Clamping is initiated via a drawbar on the machine and is transmitted to the clamping bush (system SG) via a quick-change connection and a clamping bolt. In addition, the workpiece is clamped flat on the end faces via a tailstock. Release of clamping is again initiated via the tailstock and the drawbar of the machine. The clamping bush (system SG) is supported by an integrated compression spring.

- Reduction of set-up times due to quick-change flange connection
- High-precision clamping of the workpiece
- Additional protection against soiling due to sealing air in the mandrel
