Mounting position: vertically upright with tailstockClamping system SGClamping system SZ
The clamping mandrel is designed for gear hobbing the external gearing of the workpiece.
Functional description:
Clamping is initiated on the spindle side via a draw bar on the machine side and is passed on to the clamping bush (system SG) via a clamping bolt. The face clamping is initiated by means of a tailstock and the clamping of the integrated collet (system SZ) is triggered. The tailstock is equipped with a pendulum stop in order to avoid incorrect dimensioning of the workpiece ("deforming") during clamping. The pendulum stop adapts to the flat face of the workpiece.
Advantages:
- Two independent clamping points for accurate and repeatable workpiece alignment- Pendulum stop prevents negative influence due to inaccurate workpiece surface- Optimised chip removal thanks to cover on the spindle
