  • Mounting position: horizontal with tailstock
    Clamping system SG

The clamping mandrel is designed for a turning operation of the outer contour, as well as for milling and drilling the workpiece.

Functional description:

Clamping is initiated via a drawbar on the machine side and is transmitted to the clamping bush (system SG) via a clamping bolt. The workpiece is supported via a moving centring head on the tailstock side.

Advantages:

- low-deformation clamping of very thin-walled components
- uniform distribution of the clamping force over the entire clamping length
