FAQ: Answers regarding customer account or account functions

How do I create an account?

You can create a customer account quickly and easily in our webshop. To do this, go to our registration page, under "Login" in the header of the page and select the link "Register" in the lower part of the window. You can choose one of the three user types.
  • I would like to become a customer of EMUGE-FRANKEN
  • I want to connect my existing EMUGE-FRANKEN account
  • I only want to use the downloads of the portal
Fill in the registration form, confirm our privacy policy and registration, afterwards a customer account will be created in our webshop.

Please note that only business customers within Germany,Austria, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark and Finland can create a shop account.


Where can I find my customer number?

If you have become a customer of ours or if you are already a customer, your customer number will be linked to your user account in our webshop. You can find your customer number in the menu window "My account" in the header area of the website, or in the customer area "My account". If you do not see a customer number, it has not yet been linked to your user.

Have you forgotten your password?

Everyone can sometimes forget the password for his/her user account. You can use your e-mail address to reset your password at any time so that you can again log into our web shop.

To do so, you can select the link "Forgot password" under "Log in" in the header area of the page in the middle part of the window that opens. Enter your e-mail address which you used for our webshop and you will receive an e-mail with a link to assign a new password.

Please note that when you enter your e-mail address, you will not be informed whether the e-mail address you entered really exists. This serves to protect all user accounts to prevent unauthorized checking of already existing accounts in the webshop.
If you entered a correct e-mail address and still did not receive an e-mail, please check your spam filter or contact our customer support.


How do I change my personal information?

You can change your personal data at a later point in time. To do so, please go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the customer area. In the upper part of the customer area you will find the information with your personal details. You can now edit it or add changes in this area.

Please note that changing your personal data will trigger an information e-mail to our sales staff so that the changed data can be updated in all systems. The changes in our web shop are directly visible and are immediately included in orders or contact inquiries.

How do I change my company details?

If you have made any changes to your company data, or if they are incorrectly stored with us, you can of course contact us so that we can make the change or correction immediately. Please use our contact form. Our sales staff will immediately take care of the processing of your company data.
A change directly in the webshop is unfortunately not possible, since these changes must be made manually.


What is the purpose of the watch list?

With the help of a watchlist, you can quickly place orders for regularly required items. You can create any number of these lists, add and delete articles. You can add articles via the product detail page. In addition, you can send us an inquiry for all or individual items on the watch list.

How can I delete my account?

If you no longer need an account with us, you can of course contact us via our contact form or by e-mail so that we can delete it immediately.
