Clamping Mandrel

The clamping mandrel is designed for milling the outer contour of the workpiece.

Functional description:

The clamping is initiated by a manually generated torque. The force is transmitted to the collet (system SZ) via a tilt ring and a clamping bolt. The collet is rectangular and slightly conical at the clamping surfaces. During clamping the segments are positioned in the corners of the workpiece. The collet is sealed against the workpiece to avoid soiling by chips.

- Optimum clamping despite very narrow conical clamping area
