    Clamping system SG

The clamping chuck is designed for a gear milling operation on the tapered outer diameter of the workpiece.

Functional description:

Clamping is initiated via a drawbar on the machine side. The clamping bush (system SG) is actuated via a drawbar with intermediate piece by exceeding the idle stroke. An integrated disk spring assembly supports the clamping bush during unclamping. Interchangeable clamping sets, consisting of intermediate bush and end stop, were installed for the different workpiece sizes.

Advantages:

- slim design
- machining of different workpiece sizes thanks to quick-change clamping elements
- modular design
